Dear readers, authors, colleagues!
Exactly from health care managers today depends what kind of healthcare system in Russia will be in a market economy - private or public; how will be prepared and under what conditions medical workers will work; whether free medical care is widely available to the population and finally how all of these will influence on health of population.
We all realize that today there are no clear answers to these questions and that the results of work of Russian Federation healtcare system still require an improvement.
Our shared responsibility is even greater, because time doesn`t wait – the goals of healthcare improvement was set by the President V.V. Putin: life expectancy at birth should increase to 76 years by the year 2025.
We would really hope our journal and its website to become an informal platform for discussion and decision-making in the tasks described above. And you, our dear colleagues, healthcare managers of all the levels and professors of healthcare management faculties participate actively in work of our Society. You are welcome to ask questions, offer solutions and share your experience!
