THE PROCEDURE FOR REVIEWING ARTICLES FOR PUBLICATION IN THE JOURNAL
Every manuscript incoming to the editorial board is registered
Every article is sent for review to leading experts in the relevant field (in confidence). Additional experts may be engaged in the review process by reviewers only with permission of the editorial office.
All reviewers are acknowledged experts on the subject of peer-reviewed material and have relative publications for the past three years.
If the article receives a positive reviewa copy of the review is sent to the author of the article by e-mail. The article is sent for revision to the editorial council and the managing editor of the issue to make a decision regarding the publication of the material in one of the issues of the journal. Typically, the order of publications is observed with regards to the time of receipt of the manuscripts.
If the article receives a negative review a motivated refusal is sent to the author by e-mail indicating the reasons why this material cannot be published in the journal.
If minor editorial comments are provided the manuscript is returned to the author for revision with subsequent review and discussion by the reviewer of the comments provided earlier and changes incorporated by the author.
Reviews are stored in the archive of the journal editorial office for 5 years.
The editorial board sends copies of reviews to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation upon receipt of a relevant request to the editorial board of the journal.
