Healthcare of Russia: 2018-2024. What to do?

AbstractIn the official speech to the Federal Assembly President of Russia has set a national goal - to increase life expectancy from the current 73 to 78 years till the year 2024. It's the most important task for the Russian healthcare system, it's solution is impossible without consolidation of efforts of the whole society. The article presents a brief analysis of the current state of health of the population and the factors influencing it. Next, the priorities that need to be identified in the healthcare system of the Russian Federation are put forward for discussion. The article also presents the conditions for achieving a life expectancy of 78 years by the year 2024.
