How to analyze Healthcare Systems and generate Healthcare Development Strategy

Abstract

The article considers the main stages of forming the Healthcare Development Strategy at the macro-level (country, region). Accent is placed on the analysis of data describing the status and activities of the healthcare system. In the article are given a sequence, methodology and indicators for analysis. We show the importance of choosing the right time interval for data evaluation in dynamics, the reference countries for comparison, examples explain the stages of the Strategy formation. On the example of Volga Federal district is given a table with figures for the analysis the status and activities of the healthcare systems of the RF subjects.
